Working Great.
Works exactly the way it should.
Has lasted a year now.
UPDATED: DDM730 is NOT 3-Wire.
EDIT:
I previously gave this meter only one star due to the completely inaccurate marketing.
But the support was FANTASTIC. They were very quick to respond, and to update their description clearly stating that it only receives 2 wires, so I’m bumping it up to 3 stars.
I would have given it more stars if only the meter itself didn’t falsely boast “3-WIRE” right on it.
But I expect this meter to do everything I need, and the support was so impressively ready to be helpful that I am entirely content.

ORIGINAL:
The DDM730 is specifically and clearly marketed as SINGLE-PHASE 3-WIRE. But that is wholly untrue.
I’m still expecting it to do what I need, so no need to return, but “2 Hot, 1 Neutral” is misleading.
After speaking with support, my suspicion has been confirmed. DDM730 is only a 2-wire meter.
I spoke with someone at DAE controls two or three times and they were very helpful and gave me all the information I needed to use their wonderful products. I would recommend these company to anyone.
Ed, it’s been a pleasure working with you on your solar panel project with one DAE DDM730 at the outlet of solar panel and another DDM730 at the lead of electrical panel. With the configuration, you will know how much kWh is sent to the grid from solar panel. Thanks! JJ, DAE Controls LLC, 248 635 3708
Works great to track power use on ev charger.
Works great . Good product
Perfect.
A friend wanted a 240v meter to keep tally on his car charger. As a retired electrical engineer, I was tasked to install, but it is very straight forward. Although he payed me, I first wired it into my hot water heater as a function test. Works perfect. 100 A current capacity, although tank or car charger would use only fraction of that. 0.1 kwh digit resolution. Rolls over at 100 000 kwh. Non volatile memory, not user resettable, probably as a security measure. It is not large, but its chunky dimensions would make it hard to retro fit into a small space. Dont count on contact screws to penetrate insulation, just bare a tiny patch of copper. Minimal environment protection, would need an enclosure for outdoor mounting. DIN mounting rail not included, an annoying trip to the hardware store for a $7 item. I will likely keep this unit for my hot water tank and just order him a second unit.
